Why Nach Firiri?

Nach Firiri was created to celebrate culture through movement and style. “Nach” means to dance and “Firiri” in Nepali means moving lightly, freely, and playfully. Together, it is about dancing joyfully with confidence while carrying culture with effortless style (inspired by the song 'Nacha Firiri' by Mahesh Kafle.

Inside all of us is an inner child that is always dancing, and that is what makes life beautiful. Nach Firiri’s mission is to bring simple style to dance while making South Asian fashion a part of everyday life. The idea is simple: wear your culture, move with it, and proudly carry it with you everywhere you go whether its workshops, parties, cultural events, or other everyday moments.

Maya 'माया' Collection

The Maya Collection features three pieces, each deeply inspired by Nepali culture. The word “Maya” in Nepali means love, and this first collection is rooted in a love for dance, culture, and Nepali fashion.

This collection draws from traditional Newari designs. The beauty of these kurthis lies in their meaningful patterns and colorways, which have been preserved over generations. These are not designs I created, but rather traditions I deeply respect and wanted to reimagine through my own lens.

With this collection, I’ve focused on subtle, dance-friendly customizations, adapting the silhouettes and fit to allow for movement, while keeping the essence of the original design intact.
